Job Overview:

  • The ideal candidate will oversee the administration and change order process associated with MEP packages.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the administration and change order process for MEP packages.
  • Ensure all changes are captured and costings appropriately assessed and validated prior to issuing to the Design Team and Client.
  • Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities with the project team and/or the client.
  • Undertake cost analysis for repair and maintenance project work.
  • Assist in establishing a client's requirements and undertaking feasibility studies.
  • Perform risk, value management, and cost control.
  • Advise on procurement strategy.
  • Identify, analyze, and develop responses to commercial risks.
  • Prepare and analyze costings for tenders.
  • Allocate work to subcontractors.
  • Provide advice on contractual claims.
  • Analyze outcomes and write detailed progress reports.
  • Value completed work and arrange payments.
  • Maintain awareness of different building contracts in current use.
  • Understand the implications of health and safety regulations.

Requirements:

  • Articulate with good communication and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and maintain good communication and engagement with the wider organization.
