Job Description:

As a Business Controller, you will collaborate closely with stakeholders and senior leaders to guide and support units while contributing to continuous improvement. Your primary focus will be to enable and encourage a strong business mindset, ensuring that invested funds maximize business value while maintaining good financial control and knowledge of spending.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  1. Execute budgeting, forecasting, and reporting for assigned units and consolidate financial reporting for Business Tech.
  2. Manage monthly financial close activities.
  3. Support analysis and guidance for strategic decisions and their implementation.
  4. Monitor and secure specific financial flows, including recharge costs, invoices, and accruals.
  5. Ensure data quality in relevant financial systems and sources.
  6. Optimize budgeting and forecast processes.
  7. Conduct financial analysis and investigations that contribute to business impact and cost-consciousness.
  8. Educate and inform Business Tech leaders about financial planning and follow-up.
  9. Support and control the purchase processes, including invoice handling and agreements.
  10. Demonstrate leadership ability, entrepreneurial spirit, and strategic mindset.
  11. Have a genuine curiosity and interest in technology, as well as a strong financial mindset.

Requirements:

  1. Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar Controller role, preferably in a global company.
  2. Academic degree in Business, Engineering, or an equivalent field.
  3. A solid understanding of financial principles and practices.
  4. The ability to facilitate communication, collaboration, and knowledge-sharing between different stakeholders.
  5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to find solutions in complex situations and influence various stakeholders.
  6. Proficiency in financial tools and software, such as Excel, Power BI, and SAP.
  7. The ability to challenge existing processes and ways of working.
  8. A creative and innovative mindset, capable of inspiring others and bringing new ideas.
  9. The ability to prioritize tasks and focus on what is most important.
