Job Title: Senior Material Flow Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Material Flow Engineer to join our team at Northvolt. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a vital role in designing and implementing efficient material flow systems for our battery manufacturing process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement material flow systems: Specify equipment, identify and leverage outside partners for solution development and design, and coordinate with other departments to ensure successful execution.
  • Support and provide inputs in the modelling and simulation of individual technologies and entire systems: Ensure suppliers understand and adhere to Northvolt's technical standards.
  • Work with factory simulation to validate line capacities and develop flow paths: Partner with the automation and controls team to implement the material flow concepts and system design into functions in the FMS/WCS/FCS/MES.

Requirements:

  • Education/Experience: Degree in Engineering (Industrial/Process/Production/Electrical/Electronic/Mechanical/Mechatronic/Project/Automation or similar) and 5+ years of experience within process-driven or discrete process industries.
  • Technical Skills: Excellent English written and oral skills, highly organized and result-driven, proactive and goes beyond expectations, has a can do attitude and an entrepreneurial spirit, ability to work under high pressure and tight deadlines, excellent time management, and passionate about solving complex problems with technology in a simple yet innovative way.
