Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Demand Planning Specialist to support our NBC region (Nordics, Benelux, Canada). As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for analyzing historical demand, identifying statistical forecasting algorithms, and enriching base statistical forecasts with market intelligence data. You will also execute local S&OP processes, facilitate monthly Demand Review Meetings, and act as the local interface to the central demand planning hub.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Analyze historical demand and filter out outliers to identify the most appropriate statistical forecasting algorithm.
  2. Enrich the base statistical forecast with accurate and timely market intelligence data.
  3. Execute local S&OP process and facilitate monthly Demand Review Meetings.
  4. Act as the local interface to the central demand planning hub and work within the framework of the global demand planning processes.
  5. Generate new product forecasts using historical substitution and like modeling/scenario planning techniques agreed with Marketing and Category Management.
  6. Understand the impact of customer buying patterns.
  7. Effectively communicate with and engage customers on operational issues.
  8. Drive central hyper-care support immediately after ERP go live.
Requirements
  1. Solid demand planning expertise within a matrix organization.
  2. Analytical and IT skills with ERP and Demand Planning systems (ideally SAP).
  3. Team player with exceptional communication skills.
  4. Resilient and result-oriented.
  5. Ability to work with tight deadlines.
  6. Flexibility in response to changing priorities.
  7. English language skills are a must.
