The Role
As the Head of Production at Imagien AB, you will oversee all aspects of film and content creation. This includes ensuring that every element related to our film productions is highly organized, professionally executed, and delivered with technical excellence in line with the creative vision and timelines.
Key Responsibilities
* Own the end-to-end production process, leading all aspects of film production from concept development to final delivery
* Develop and execute production strategies that align with the company's creative and financial goals, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and at the highest quality standards
* Establish internal production handling processes, including storage of originals and production assets, studio setup, and ways of working with partners, hardware, and tools/software
* Ensure compliance with industry regulations, permits, insurance, copyright laws, and distribution requirements
* Activate a network of production partners, sourcing, negotiating contracts, and coordinating with key personnel, technology, and equipment required for the production process
* Unlock scalability for our production capabilities by setting up structured ways of working with industry partners and establishing a repeatable framework for efficiently running a higher volume of productions without sacrificing production quality or delivery timelines
What You Need
* Proven experience as a Producer, Head of Production, or similar role in the film industry, ideally with experience in live broadcast or documentary-style films
* Broad experience working across multiple roles in the industry, a 'jack of all trades' with knowledge of camera work, sound engineering, set design, directing, post-production editing, etc.
* Deep technical understanding of requirements for film productions across production planning, budgeting, tech & equipment, and logistics
* Expertise in film production workflows, post-production, and distribution
* Highly organized, excellent project manager, and extensive experience with stakeholder management
* Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills, representing the Imagien brand with integrity and in line with our values
* Familiarity with legal and compliance aspects of film production
