About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Onboard Site Supervisor to join our team at Alstom. As a key member of our project team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful installation and commissioning of our signalling system ETCS in Sweden.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure strict adherence to EHS rules and regulations in the workshop, promoting a safe and healthy work environment for all employees and subcontractors.
  • Supervise and validate the execution of installation and commissioning work, ensuring quality and timely delivery of projects.
  • Interface with customers, stakeholders, and project teams to ensure effective communication and coordination.
  • Manage and coordinate teams of installation subcontractors and commissioning staff, ensuring efficient resource allocation and utilization.
  • Monitor and report project activity and costs to the Project Field Operation Manager, implementing strict cost control measures.

Requirements

  • Mechanical or Electrical Engineer with significant experience in team management, material management, and resources management.
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Relevant work experience in the Railway industry is preferred, with a strong understanding of signalling systems and ETCS technology.
  • Good language skills in English, with proficiency in Swedish being an asset.
