Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent customer service, ensuring customers receive a positive experience each time they visit the store.
  • Assist in maximizing store profitability by exceeding sales targets and utilizing in-store devices.
  • Maintain and improve the level of customer service, acknowledging customers and maintaining a consistent awareness of their needs.
  • Select and recommend products to customers, directing them to or bringing alternatives as applicable.
  • Ensure customers are aware of new stock and products they may require in the future.
  • Ensure the standard of service encourages customers to return soon.
  • Provide courteous, considerate, and responsible service to customers.
  • Attend to and sell to as many customers as possible, dealing with and selling to multiple customers at a time as circumstances require.
  • Become familiar with the layout of all stock presented and held to make the most of potential sales.
  • Ensure up-to-date promotions and presentations of stock are carried out as directed.
  • Call for and accept assistance, believing in teamwork.
  • Use all selling skills effectively, including the introduction of accessories.
  • Assist in maintaining standards on the shop floor, keeping stock clean and presentable at all times.
  • Replenish stock levels when needed, ensuring the full size range is on the shop floor where possible.
  • Ensure product is priced correctly and keep all displays up to date.
  • Comply with all company rules and regulations, working within company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain your standard of appearance and dress in accordance with company policy and wear staff uniform where provided.
  • Assist in keeping stock areas, staff facilities, staff room, etc. clean, tidy, and orderly.
  • Assist in the unloading and reception of deliveries and move, condense, or shelve stock as required.
  • Deputise for other staff, work within departments, or carry out other duties as required.
