Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled PLM Project Management Specialist to oversee the management of HVDC PLM initiatives. This role is ideal for individuals with a robust understanding of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and a proven track record in steering PLM projects.

The successful candidate will be an adept Project Manager with extensive technical expertise in PLM processes, particularly within large-scale organizations that utilize CTO and ETO methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business lead representatives to manage project planning, effectively addressing challenges and adjustments in detailed planning.
  • Grasp the business models and requirements to assist technical development team members in interpreting their actual needs.
  • Develop and present technical project presentations and reports to the PLM Business Program, embodying Hitachi Power Grids Leadership Pillars by living our vision, fostering collaboration, fulfilling commitments, and nurturing talent.

Required Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience in managing projects that implement new functionalities within the Siemens suite of tools (such as Teamcenter, NX, Polarion, etc.).
  • Proven ability to collaborate with diverse cross-functional teams and work closely with business stakeholders.
  • Experience in managing multiple parallel PLM implementation projects.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, within the project RACI organization and among various stakeholders, alongside strong interpersonal skills for engaging with all organizational levels.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies including Waterfall, Hybrid, and Agile, with the ability to adapt to company-specific processes.
  • Understanding of DevOps process methodologies and familiarity with the ITIL framework.
  • Proficiency in English is essential, as this role involves collaboration with an international team, allowing for knowledge exchange with colleagues globally.
