About the Role

We're seeking a highly experienced Lead Gameplay Programmer to join our team and help shape the future of our ambitious new IP. As a key member of our game development team, you'll work closely with designers, programmers, and content creators to build and enrich the game, while adhering to the main vision set by the Game Director.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement gameplay features, systems, and visual building blocks for our designers to use in Glacier, our in-house technology.
  • Collaborate with other programmers, designers, and content creators to build and enrich the game.
  • Work closely with the Game Director to ensure the game meets the project's vision and objectives.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to other gameplay programmers across the studio.
  • Contribute to the development of cross-project robust systems and strengthen our shared codebase.

Requirements

  • Extensive professional experience in gameplay programming, preferably on a AAA title.
  • Strong foundation and understanding of C++ and best practices.
  • Hands-on experience with gameplay features implementation, such as systems, characters, cameras, control scheme, weapons and items, abilities and progression, environments, and interactions.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
