At Westermo Network Technologies AB, we are committed to reducing our environmental impact and contributing to a more sustainable society. As a leading provider of industrial data communication equipment, we strive to deliver high-quality products that meet the latest sustainability regulations.
We are currently seeking a skilled Regulatory Affairs Engineer to join our R&D team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with product-related sustainability regulations and working closely with various stakeholders to implement sustainable practices.
Your primary focus will be on maintaining our component database, selecting suitable materials for current and new designs, and participating in regulatory activities such as material declaration, life cycle analysis, and reliability calculations.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining and updating our component database regarding material declarations, life cycle, MTBF calculations, and product compliance towards EU- and other world-wide regulatory legislations.
- Handling and coordinating with external institutes in material declaration, lifecycle analysis, and reliability calculation activities.
- Monitoring sustainability regulations and driving competence within the area to assure implementation of new requirements.
- Developing and improving internal processes related to sustainability and product compliance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in electrical or chemical engineering.
- Ability to read and gain competence within various product-related sustainability regulations.
- Fluent in English, written and spoken.
