The Job Description

As an Engineering Manager at Hitachi Energy, you will lead a team of electromechanical engineers to develop high-quality and cost-effective engineering solutions for global customers. You will work closely with colleagues to ensure timely delivery of projects, meeting contract, safety, and quality standards.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of electromechanical engineers to deliver high-quality engineering solutions to global customers.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure timely delivery of projects, meeting contract, safety, and quality requirements.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and implement changes within Electro-Mechanical engineering and cross-functional teams to align with business strategy and future needs.

Key Requirements

  • Relevant degree in engineering, such as Mechanical, Electro-Mechanical engineering, or equivalent within Electrical Power.
  • Leadership experience, e.g., line management, project management, or similar.
  • Background working in Power Systems, Power quality, Power Grid Solution, Power transmission (HVDC), or Substations.
  • A strong drive and focus on delivering in time and with quality, with excellent interpersonal skills.
