Responsibilities

As a Physicist and Game Developer, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving our physics framework, pipeline, and feature-set.

You'll contribute to taking the studio and game from great to even better, focusing on inclusivity, mutual respect, thoughtfulness, empathy, professionalism, and collaboration.

  1. Driving Our Physics Pipeline
  2. Architecting and Supporting Simulation and Query Behaviors
  3. Deploying, Evaluating Performance, Optimizing, and Testing Software
Requirements and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  1. 5+ years of experience working as an engineer in the game industry or a similar industry.
  2. Significant experience with physics pipeline requirements and runtime behaviors.
  3. Proven ability to collaborate, coordinate, communicate, and support other team members.
  4. Demonstrated ability to write efficient, performant, clean, readable, portable, and reliable code.
  5. Direct experience with Havok or similar middleware.
  6. Enjoyment of playing a variety of video game genres and titles.
