About the Position: We are seeking an accomplished Senior Research Professor of Economic Development to join our team at Linköping University. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting high-quality research, teaching, and supervision at all levels, with a focus on economic development and its applications in policy and practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct innovative and impactful research in economic development, with a strong focus on policy-relevant topics and applications
  • Teach and supervise students at all levels, including undergraduate, advanced, and doctoral programs, with a focus on economic development and related fields
  • Lead and participate in research projects, collaborations, and external funding initiatives, with a focus on economic development and its applications
  • Foster a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship within the division, with a focus on economic development and its applications
  • Develop and maintain relationships with industry partners, policymakers, and other stakeholders to advance the application of economic development in policy and practice

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate:

Research Expertise: Advanced knowledge and expertise in economic development, with a strong focus on policy-relevant topics and applications.

Teaching and Supervision: Proven ability to teach and supervise students at all levels, including undergraduate, advanced, and doctoral programs, with a focus on economic development and related fields.

Collaboration and Leadership: Proven ability to lead, organize, and administrate activities within teaching or research, with a strong emphasis on collaboration and teamwork.

Language Proficiency: Fluency in English is required, with the ability to teach and conduct research in Swedish desirable within two years.
