Senior Work Environment Manager

Fazer Sweden is seeking an experienced Senior Work Environment Manager to drive safety and well-being across our organization and Fazer Bakery. As a key member of our team, you will play a central role in ensuring compliance with work environment legislation, improving workplace conditions, and fostering a safety-first culture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and coordinate work environment initiatives to promote a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Ensure compliance with the Work Environment Act and other relevant regulations, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement safety reporting and work environment forums to engage employees and promote a culture of safety.
  • Train managers in workplace safety and establish annual safety plans to ensure a proactive approach to safety.
  • Drive projects to improve electrical safety, machine safety, and other areas to enhance workplace conditions.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will have 5-10 years of experience in the work environment field, a degree in engineering, and a strong understanding of Human-Technology-Organization (MTO) perspectives. You will also have experience in updating current work environment legislation and implementing practical solutions. Additionally, you will have experience in ergonomics, noise and vibration measurement, machine safety, and chemical health risks. Knowledge of ISO 45001 is an asset.

You will be comfortable working in a collaborative environment, engaging with cross-functional teams, and communicating effectively in both Swedish and English. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential to assess work environments and propose practical solutions to create safer and healthier workplaces.
