Key Responsibilities- Manage and maintain mobile devices, desktops, laptops, and peripheral devices to ensure optimal performance and security.
- Design, architect, and manage end-user computing platforms, developing and maintaining technology standards based on industry best practices.
- Develop and implement technology roadmaps, proposing and developing new solutions based on business strategy.
- Collaborate with the broader IT and business organization to deliver solutions, serve as a subject matter expert in end-user technology, and manage governance and compliance to standards.
- Provide support for laptops, desktops, printers, peripherals, telephone systems, and mobile devices, identifying, managing, and resolving issues in a timely manner.
- Respond to customer requests effectively, communicating with customers to address issues and providing comprehensive understanding of PC hardware, software, operating systems, directory services, and registry management.
- Install, configure, maintain, automate, and troubleshoot hardware and software, gathering diagnostic information, troubleshooting, problem analysis, and resolution.
- Collaborate with colleagues specializing in different areas, vendors, and third-party support providers, resolving incidents, requests, changes, and problem-solving.
- Support Windows 10 & 11, Microsoft 365, and other Microsoft product offerings, including high-level capabilities and competitor products.
- Participate in the evaluation of new software tools or upgrades to existing tools, providing preventative action recommendations and assisting in finding solutions to recurring environment issues.
- Develop standard configurations and documentation, configuring and managing Group Policy Objects in Active Directory environments, security/software updates, and monitoring desktop/mobile/peripheral device performance.
- Perform maintenance, backup, and recovery tasks for desktop/mobile/peripheral devices, maintaining and assisting with IT-related tasks, tickets, and projects.
- Answer phone calls, emails, and ticket help requests from end-users in a courteous manner, building rapport and recording, tracking, and documenting the help desk request problem-solving process.
- Bachelor's or Associate's degree in IT, Management Information Systems, or related technology or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proven experience creating and executing technology strategy and technical solutions.
- Strong communication skills and knowledge of laptops, desktops, phones, smartphones, for troubleshooting issues and configuring proper settings according to enterprise management standards.
- Knowledge of managing Microsoft Windows/Users in an Active Directory environment, Data Protection as it pertains to HIPAA and PHI, and policy writing skills.
- Experience with Microsoft 365 administration and use, Microsoft Intune/Autopilot, Server 2016 and higher, Print Management, DNS, DHCP, and Domain Controller Server roles and functionalities.
- Understanding of Enterprise IT and Healthcare IT roles, Cerner EHR, and VMware 7.X or Horizon 8.x.
