Job Overview

We are seeking highly motivated students with a background in mechatronic, electrical engineering, or equivalent program to conduct their thesis on developing an automated control system for a drone launcher.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for integrating the drone launcher with a mission control system, evaluating and implementing embedded motor controllers, utilizing weather data for launch safety support and control, and developing automated test cases to verify the system's behavior.

The development of the control system will require a broad mix of competences ranging from electrical engineering and electronics to software development.

Requirements

We are looking for 2 students with experience in electrical engineering, software development, and an interest in learning more about test automation. Applicants should have experience programming with Python and at least one more object-oriented programming language. Previous experience with Continuous Integration, Delivery, or Deployment, Jenkins, Git, and Test Automation is meritorious.
