About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced System Engineer to join our Cooling System group in Volvo Group Trucks Technology (GTT). As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the development and maintenance of our cooling and hydraulic systems, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain cooling and hydraulic system designs, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate system components, ensuring smooth operation and minimal downtime.
  • Conduct thorough testing and validation of system performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to colleagues, ensuring consistent application of best practices and industry standards.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends, applying knowledge to drive innovation and improvement within the team.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in cooling and hydraulic system development, with a strong understanding of system architecture and properties.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality designs and solutions, with a focus on collaboration and teamwork.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues.
