Nexer Recruit is seeking a QHSE Systems Lead to drive the development and implementation of QHSE systems for our offshore and marine operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain effective Safety Management Systems (SMS), Quality and Operational Manuals in collaboration with the Operations and Fleet Teams to promote a strong safety culture and quality consciousness.
  • Oversee and support a dedicated QHSE team, ensuring timely and effective implementation of safety and quality initiatives across all operational sites.
  • Lead internal and external audits in line with applicable standards and procedures to verify the effective implementation of SMS and quality policies and objectives.
  • Collaborate with the General Manager to oversee the implementation of QHSE systems and ensure alignment with global standards.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive emergency response plans to prepare for unforeseen events.
  • Provide guidance and support to Fleet Operations Managers in marine incident investigations and risk assessments.
  • Ensure that QHSE systems are effectively implemented and maintained across all operational sites.
  • Develop and implement training programs for QHSE team members to enhance their knowledge and skills.
Requirements:
  • A Marine Engineer (or equivalent) with a Bachelor's degree and significant experience in QHSE roles, particularly within marine operations and shipyard activities.
  • Proven track record in QHSE aspects of marine operations, including managerial or leadership roles, with at least 10 years of experience.
  • Certified in Safety Management and auditing techniques, with proficiency in developing and managing QHSE Management Systems, Risk Assessments, and Emergency Response Plans.
  • Familiarity with Class Society rules, statutory requirements, and best practices within the marine sector, with hands-on experience in compliance and certifications.
  • A strategic thinker with excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills, capable of leading change and improving processes proactively.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a multi-cultural environment.
  • Computer-proficient, with advanced data analysis and reporting skills to ensure transparency and informed decision-making.
