We are seeking a forward-thinking Business Development Manager to spearhead the growth of our Comic Con event.

About the Role

This role demands a proactive and innovative individual who can drive business growth, foster new relationships, and deliver exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Business development, including partnership negotiation and research
  • Creation and implementation of sales strategies and time plans
  • Collaboration with Event Marketeer on marketing campaigns and overall communication in owned and bought media channels
  • Management of all local sales, including prospecting and pipeline development
  • Full responsibility for all content and activities at the event
  • Ensuring the planning process runs smoothly and all deadlines are met
  • All reporting before and after the event – setting up regular meetings etc.
  • Leadership of the event team, driving growth and success
  • Main point of contact for event execution on site
Requirements

To excel in this role, you must be a natural problem-solver, adept at building relationships, and possessing a keen sense of business acumen.

We are looking for someone with a bachelor's degree and relevant experience in a similar position. A background in events or entertainment is highly beneficial.

This role demands strong leadership skills, inspiring and motivating your team while maintaining a humble and approachable attitude.
