Lead Sound Designer

Zeni Max Media, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Lead Sound Designer to join our audio team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating and implementing high-quality audio assets and features for our AAA games.
Key Responsibilities- Audio Asset Creation: Design, create, and implement high-quality audio assets, including sound effects, music, and voiceovers.
- Audio Implementation: Work closely with the Audio Director to define, refine, and achieve project audio goals.
- Team Leadership: Provide line management and guidance to audio staff assigned to you.
- Audio Optimization: Ensure that audio assets are optimized for platform resource limitations.
- Communication: Clearly communicate audio needs to other departments, such as code and animation.
- Audio Quality Control: Ensure that the game mix is maintained as the game matures, to the requirements agreed upon with the Audio Director.
- Recording and Editing: Record, edit, and archive audio assets as needed.
- Project Management: Organize and run recording sessions to achieve project goals.
- Professional Development: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and standards, and proactively seek to improve sound design workflow.
- A minimum of one full development cycle experience on a AAA title or equivalent, credited as a lead or principal/senior.
- High degree of competence in Reaper and/or equivalent DAWs.
- Strong experience with Wwise or equivalent audio engine.
- Strong understanding of audio processing, signal paths, and interactive mixing techniques.
- Ability to engage in audio work and communication outside of pure sound design.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Portfolio demonstrating previous work suitable for the position.
