We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Global Procurement Director Medical and Bought in Finished Goods to join our team at Essity AB. As a key member of our Global Procurement Lead team, you will be responsible for leading a team of global/regional procurement managers and tactical/operational buyers to develop and execute global procurement strategies in line with our business needs.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Team Management
Lead a team of 50+ employees globally, including global/regional procurement managers and tactical/operational buyers.
Strategic Category ProcurementDevelop and execute global procurement strategies for raw materials and BIFG for the Medical business, as well as global spend for BIFG for the full Essity business.
Contract ManagementAccountable for complete contract lifecycle management to secure compliance with policies and standards.
Business PartneringPartner with stakeholders within manufacturing, planning, innovation, and sales to deliver business value for Essity.
Requirements- Education
Master's degree or equivalent within a relevant field (Business, Economics, Supply Chain or similar).
ExperiencePreferably 10+ years working experience with 5+ years of leadership experience.
Skills and AbilitiesProven ability to lead people and create a collaborative work environment driven by ambitious goals as well as high team spirit. Proven ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders across functions. Analytical mindset and results-oriented. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
