Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Account Manager to join our team in Hamburg. As a commercially driven sales professional, you will be responsible for maximizing the value of existing customers and driving revenue growth.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of consistently meeting revenue quotas and excellent communication skills. Fluency in German and English is required, as well as 6+ years of experience in an Account Executive and/or Account Management role, preferably in the MarTech industry.

Main Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities by understanding clients' evolving needs and recommending Funnel solutions.
  • Develop compelling business cases for these opportunities by aligning Funnel's products with the client's strategic goals.
  • Proactively engage customers ahead of renewals, efficiently manage the entire renewal process, and collaborate with the customer success team to mitigate potential churn and downsell risks.
  • Skillfully negotiate pricing and (multi-year) contracts, including renewals and expansions, to achieve beneficial outcomes that foster long-term customer relationships and ensure continued success with Funnel.

Key Qualifications

  • Fluency in German and English.
  • 6+ years of experience in an Account Executive and/or Account Management role, preferably in the MarTech industry.
  • Proven track record of consistently meeting revenue quotas.
  • Strong knowledge of SaaS business models and cycles.
  • Proven success with procurement and contract negotiation.
  • Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, visual).
  • Strong prioritization and time management skills in a fast-paced environment.
