About the Role

Vattenfall is a leading European energy company seeking a talented individual to join its Staff Function New Nuclear team as an Information Manager. This new role will be responsible for developing the architecture, structure, and governance of information management and requirement management for Vattenfall's nuclear new build projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and own the strategy for Information Management, detailing the roadmap for the development of an information management system for the Nuclear Newbuild program.
  • Establish and enforce standards, guidelines, and best practices to ensure consistency and adherence in information and requirement management.
  • Create and maintain information management models, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to understand business requirements.
  • Work closely with Data Engineers and IT Architects to ensure IT tools meet business requirements.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and participate in relevant international industry fora to drive knowledge exchange.
  • Effectively communicate and present complex information modelling concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Educated to degree level in Systems Engineering, Information Management, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in relevant areas, including designing and implementing governance, methodologies, and tools.
  • Strong Swedish and English language skills, both verbally and written.
  • Proactive attitude towards continuous learning and keeping up-to-date with industry trends.
  • Self-starter with a result-oriented approach, capable of working independently and in a team.
