Job Description

As a Packaging Material Development Engineer at Infotree Global Solutions, you will play a crucial role in the Material Solutions team, working closely with packaging material and package development.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Requirements Translation: Collaborate with the scrum team to translate requirements into sub-system requirements and technical specifications for the packaging material and package area.
  • Package Development Support: Assist in the translation of requirements into packaging material and package design, ensuring seamless integration with existing procedures and standards.
  • Validation Strategy: Develop and execute a V&V strategy related to packaging material and package area for technology and product development projects.
  • Test Specifications and Analysis: Write test specifications, analyze results, and document findings using reports.
  • Procedure Development: Coordinate and execute all packaging material and package activities according to existing procedures, standards, and methods, in partnership with suppliers, specialists, laboratories, and converting factories.
  • Root Cause Investigations: Drive root cause investigations on packaging material and package performance and functionality.
  • Risk Assessment: Drive risk assessment for packaging material and package.
  • Procedure Implementation: Develop and implement new procedures, tests, and validation methods according to requirements.
Required Skills:
  • Analytical Skills: Possess analytical skills, clear communication, and the ability to manage complexity and ambiguity.
  • Team Player: Be a team player who can take on individual initiatives and activities while collaborating with others.
  • Problem-Solving: Have a natural drive for problem-solving, able to coordinate and deliver desirable results.
  • Academic Background: Hold an academic degree, preferably a Master of Science in Materials or similar.
  • Communication Skills: Possess good communication skills in English.
Preferred Skills:
  • Product Development Experience: Past experience in the product development process in the packaging area.
  • Technical Test Methodologies: Experience in technical test methodologies in the area of packaging.
  • Knowledge of Packaging Materials: Knowledge of Packaging Material, Food Package Interaction, and Statistics.
  • Physical Testing: Be well-acquainted and self-sufficient in Physical Testing.
  • Requirement Management: Knowledge of Requirement Management procedure.
  • Scrum and Agile: Knowledge of scrum and agile is a plus.
