We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team as a Lead Project Electrical Engineer. As a technical authority for hoisting projects, you will oversee the entire lifecycle from design to commissioning, ensuring compliance with safety standards and customer specifications.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and execute engineering activities, providing technical input and cost estimates for proposals.
- Design and optimize electrical and automation systems for hoisting solutions, collaborating with sales and project managers.
- Support commissioning activities and ensure timely project delivery, resolving complex technical issues on-site and remotely.
- Mentor and develop junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and sharing best practices with global teams.
- 5+ years of experience in large-scale industry projects, including design, installation, and commissioning, preferably in the mining sector.
- Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, with a focus on safety, innovation, and customer-centric solutions, and excellent communication skills in English.
- High level of self-motivation, curiosity, and a collaborative, solutions-oriented mindset.
