About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Area Supervisor to join our Sub Supplier Management team at Vestas. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for implementing strategic initiatives, monitoring operational performance, and ensuring that our subcontracting technicians meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Implementation: Develop and implement strategic initiatives to improve the performance of our subcontracting supervisors and technicians.
  • Operational Monitoring: Continuously monitor the operational performance of our subcontracting area to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of subcontracting technicians to ensure that they meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
  • Performance Management: Monitor and manage the performance of our subcontracting technicians to ensure that they meet the required standards.
Requirements
  • Experience: Previous experience as a Manager/Supervisor within an industrial or engineering environment, preferably in a field-based position within the power generation industry or associated with large complex industrial machinery and equipment.
  • Skills: Computer literate, able to use MS Office and in-house database and workload management systems, beneficial with experience with SAP and Salesforce.
  • Qualifications: Organised and methodical approach to work with a proven ability to analyse data with an attention to detail.
  • Personal Qualities: Able to prioritise own workload, to deliver on time and in full, willing to travel on a regular basis, including nights away from home, leads by example, able to motivate others, continuous drive for technical and performance improvements.
