Job Summary

Axiom Technologies is a leading IT services partner supporting medium to large-scale enterprises. We are seeking a highly skilled Device Lifecycle Management Specialist to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lifecycle Management:
    • Define and communicate global hardware standards to ensure consistency across the organization.
    • Own and maintain global hardware standards, ensuring they are up-to-date and aligned with business needs.
  • Technology Introduction and Engagement:
    • Present new technologies to the business, highlighting their benefits and potential impact.
    • Engage with stakeholders to explore 'proof of technology' solutions and handle the onboarding and off-boarding of technology.
  • Collaboration with Teams:
    • Work closely with the Refresh-IT service team to agree on device availability for leasing.
    • Amend the hardware catalogue as needed for different regions, countries, or sites.
  • Device Standards and Catalogue Management:
    • Collaborate with the Hardware Lifecycle Manager to establish device standards for both specialist and lease catalogues.
    • Align these standards with relevant stakeholder groups and own the devices catalogue.
    • Stay aware of market changes and plan for challenges and changes.
  • Focus Areas:
    • Emphasize sustainability, automation, simplification, and commercial opportunities in device lifecycle management.
  • Stakeholder Communication and Management:
    • Communicate effectively at all levels of the business, managing pricing and contracts with OEMs.
    • Handle OEM management for brands like Dell, Apple, Samsung, etc.
  • Annual Device Transitions:
    • Plan, test, communicate, and manage stock changes, updating ServiceNow catalogue datasets accordingly.
  • Supply Chain Management:
    • Optimize supply chain strategies, managing buffer stock and other value-added reseller (VAR) services.
  • Service Governance and Performance:
    • Ensure service levels are met or exceeded, escalating issues to the Global Desktop Lead when necessary.
    • Assist with contract negotiations.
  • Reporting and Analysis:
    • Provide data analysis to support business requirements, acting as an SME for global device ordering processes.
    • Manage procurement challenges and drive process improvements.
  • Sustainability and Disposal Management:
    • Develop a disposal dashboard to meet sustainability targets, expanding VAR offerings where possible.

  • Proven experience in device lifecycle management or a similar role.

  • Familiarity with procurement processes and contract negotiations.

Experience in a similar role:
  • 3+ years of relevant experience.
