Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Credit Underwriter to join our Merchant Underwriting & Monitoring team at Qliro. As a Senior Credit Underwriter, you will play a critical role in preventing credit losses associated with our merchants and monitoring existing merchants to detect and address deteriorating businesses.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and assess the credit risk of incoming business proposals and present recommendations to the Credit Committee.
- Hold a decision mandate and contribute to developing internal guidelines and procedures.
- Continuously monitor, reassess, and propose actions for current business exposures.
Requirements
- At least 4+ years of experience in corporate financial analysis and credit assessment.
- Strong analytical, quality-oriented, and attention to detail skills.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
- Ability to consider regulatory, business, and customer perspectives and balance them in recommendations.
- Proficiency in Excel and ability to learn new systems.
- Fluency in Swedish and English.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous team leadership experience.
- Previous experience in KYC, AML, and fraud prevention.
- Experience working with another Nordic market.
