Job Description:

Minnovation International is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our technology roadmap development for next generation Solar PV architecture and converter structures.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Power Electronics Technology, simulation and design, and Digital control. They will be responsible for working with internal customers to identify and define system requirements and needs, and establishing key technical competencies for future products and solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute technology roadmaps for next generation Solar PV architecture and converter structures;
  • Lead research and development of novel Solar PV architecture and converter topologies, focusing on Medium and Small Power PV Systems;
  • Collaborate with external R&D institutes and Universities on projects for developing high-power converters and associated control algorithms;
  • Design, verify, and validate converter concepts in R&D laboratories;
  • Generate innovative ideas and protect them with intellectual property filings;
  • Represent the company at international conferences and exhibitions, and participate in external communications;
  • Mentor and coach less experienced staff members.

Requirements:

  • PhD in Power Electronics/Electrical and Electronic Engineering, with over 8 years of R&D experience in the industry;
  • Deep understanding of technology trends and ability to contribute competitive ideas;
  • Expertise in inverter topologies, modulation and control algorithms, and magnetic simulation tools;
  • Strong theoretical understanding of power electronic converter principles and multi-level converters;
  • Highly motivated and interested in innovative solutions and technologies;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a high level of self-reliance and autonomy;
  • Professional level working proficiency in English, with prior international and multicultural work experience preferred.
