About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Engineer to join our Electrical Safety Solutions team at Autoliv. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing advanced breakers and shutters that protect electrical systems in high-voltage applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the electrical part of the design and development of HVDC/MVDC breakers and bypass systems
  • Ensure safety, reliability, and compliance with industry standards from an electrical perspective
  • Drive innovation and advance products and solutions across all stages of the product lifecycle
  • Oversee complex projects and guide, mentor, and share knowledge with other engineers
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A B.Sc or M.Sc in Electrical Engineering or Power Electronics
  • Extensive hands-on experience with HVDC/MVDC breaker and bypass technologies
  • A deep understanding of electrical arcing and its implications on system design and performance
  • Proven leadership and project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
