Export Authorization Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Regulatory Compliance Director to join our team at Teledyne FLIR in Täby, Sweden.
This role will involve leading the implementation and management of our Internal Trade Compliance Program and ensuring compliance with all global trade compliance requirements and regulations.
The successful candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to proactively identify risks and compliance challenges that may arise.
Main Responsibilities:
- Leading the implementation and management of our Internal Trade Compliance Program.
- Ensuring compliance with all global trade compliance requirements and regulations.
- Providing guidance and practical solutions related to export control compliance requirements to business stakeholders.
- Supporting trade compliance internal and external audits at Teledyne FLIR in Täby.
- Identifying common themes and addressing export compliance issues.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Swedish, EU & US Export Laws and Regulations.
- Experience in High Technology, Defense or Aerospace environment.
- Strong leadership skills with a willingness to lead, create new ideas, and be assertive.
- Excellent communication skills to distill and communicate complicated issues into easy-to-understand language.
