The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. This requires a strategic thinker with extensive experience in project controls, scheduling, and progress reporting.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, implement, and maintain robust project controls systems to manage project risks, costs, and schedules.
  • Monitor and control project performance against established baselines.
  • Identify potential issues and risks and develop mitigation strategies to address them.

Scheduling Expertise:

  • Create and maintain detailed project schedules using industry-standard software such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.
  • Coordinate with project teams to ensure all tasks and milestones are accurately reflected in the schedule.
  • Perform critical path analysis and optimise schedules to improve project delivery.

Stakeholder Management:

  • Communicate effectively with clients, project teams, and senior management to ensure alignment on project goals and expectations.
  • Facilitate meetings and workshops to discuss project progress and address any concerns.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in project planning, with a focus on infrastructure and facility sector projects.
  • A bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Technical skills: Proficiency in project planning and scheduling software, such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or similar tools.
  • Proven experience working within a Project Management Office (PMO), with a solid understanding of PMO methodologies and practices.
  • In-depth knowledge of infrastructure project planning, including large-scale facility construction and maintenance.
