Stockholm, Stockholm, Sweden Elekta AB Full time

At Elekta, we're driven by a mission to improve and save lives. We're committed to creating innovative solutions that help patients and their communities.

We're seeking a talented individual to join our team as a Verification Engineer. As part of our Radiation Therapy department, you'll play a crucial role in developing cutting-edge systems that make a real positive impact in people's lives.

As a Verification Engineer, you'll be involved in all phases of our verification process, from planning and specification to execution and reporting. You'll ensure that our products meet the expected standards of quality and performance, working closely with design teams to develop testable designs and provide early feedback on product performance.

Key responsibilities will include writing and executing test cases, performing exploratory and regression testing, and identifying defects with attention to detail. You'll also be involved in defining the technical testing strategy and creating and reviewing verification documents, test code, and technical product documentation.

To succeed in this role, you should be comfortable collaborating across multiple teams and communicating technical details effectively. You should value clear, organized workflows and enjoy tackling complex challenges with a methodical, detail-oriented approach.

Qualifications for this role include a university degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, demonstrated experience in Verification, including automated testing, proficiency in designing, writing, and executing test cases for complex systems, and configuration management skills with an understanding of requirements tracking.

In return for your expertise, you'll work for a higher purpose: hope for everyone dealing with cancer and for everyone, regardless of where they are in the world, to have access to the best cancer care. Elekta in Sweden offers a range of benefits, including 30 paid vacation days/year, private medical insurance, contribution to wellness activities, and a hybrid work option.

Whether you're passionate about improving patient outcomes or simply want to contribute to something meaningful, this role is an opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of others.
