Your future role

Embrace a new opportunity and leverage your extensive financial management skills in a pioneering sector. Collaborate with a team of dedicated, innovative, and supportive colleagues. You will play a crucial role in ensuring project success and maintaining financial integrity. On a daily basis, you will engage closely with various teams (including Project Managers, Core Project Teams, and Central Finance Teams), providing essential financial insights for strategic decision-making and more.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure transparency regarding the financial status of the project to the Project Manager (PM) and Project Core Team (PCT).
  • Oversee the monthly closing process for the project, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
  • Monitor project expenditures, analyze discrepancies, and propose actionable solutions.
  • Contribute to risk and opportunity management by critically assessing project inputs and suggesting measures to mitigate risks or capitalize on opportunities.
  • Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes at the project level, updating financial systems accordingly.
  • Confirm that project calculations accurately reflect the current project status and lead the reassessment of cost assumptions.
  • Collaborate with the PM and PCT to prepare reports for project reviews, including relevant financial analyses.

  • A degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
  • Familiarity with project management and financial oversight in a complex, project-oriented environment.
  • Knowledge of financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting methodologies.
  • Understanding of accounting principles and long-term contract accounting regulations.
  • Strong communication skills, capable of conveying financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Fluency in English and Swedish.
