Investment Banking Division Overview

Our division tackles some of the most intricate financial challenges and transactions in today's market. Whether advising on mergers, offering financial solutions for acquisitions, or structuring initial public offerings, we manage projects that assist clients during significant milestones. We collaborate with corporations, pension funds, financial sponsors, and government entities, comprising a team of adept analytical thinkers who are passionate about generating innovative ideas.

HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL

Investment Banking Analysts at Goldman Sachs gain exposure to the firm's operations and deepen their understanding of the investment banking landscape while honing essential analytical, communication, marketing, and sales skills. Analysts are responsible for creating and analyzing financial models, conducting scenario analyses, and evaluating the impacts of client alternatives. Furthermore, Analysts prepare and organize presentations that elucidate industry trends, discuss client options, and propose strategies to achieve client objectives. They may also engage in due diligence sessions, a critical component of financial transactions. From maintaining client communications to assisting Goldman Sachs in structuring client transactions, our Analysts play a crucial role in our banking teams.

We are looking for a skilled professional to join our Investment Banking team in the Nordics Coverage Group at the experienced analyst level and utilize their expertise and insights to contribute to the success of Goldman Sachs.

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Basic Qualifications


• Completion of an undergraduate degree is required.


• Current experience as an investment banking Analyst or in a related financial role.


• A strong drive, enthusiasm, creativity, and excellent interpersonal skills.


• Proficient quantitative and technical abilities.


• An exceptional academic record.


• Personal integrity, initiative, and leadership qualities.


• Strong communication, multitasking, and time management skills.
