- Annual Budgets: Contribute to the development of annual budgets within the respective category, ensuring strategic resource plans are in place.
- Relationship Building: Build relationships with R&D colleagues at management unit and category levels to facilitate knowledge transfer and collaboration.
- Innovation Promotion: Promote the 'Spirit of Innovation' across the product category, driving a culture of creativity and experimentation.
- Tool Development: Partner with expert groups to develop and optimize tools and techniques for innovation, ensuring efficient and effective product development processes.
- Supplier Collaboration: Collaborate with suppliers to leverage their innovation capabilities, driving mutually beneficial partnerships.
- Consumer Insights: Translate consumer trends into product development proposals, ensuring our products meet evolving consumer needs.
- Production Trials: Lead production trials in collaboration with technology process experts and other R&D members, ensuring seamless product launches.
- Performance Management: Manage budgeted targets, Innovation Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), cost center management, and strategic resource plans, driving business growth and profitability.
- Continuous Improvement: Support continuous improvement of products and processes to secure competitiveness and cost-effectiveness, driving business excellence.
- Education: College/University Degree in Food Science/Technology or equivalent work experience.
- Experience: At least 5 years' experience in similar R&D roles, with previous experience in New Product Development management and process.
- Financial Aptitude: Financial/numerical aptitude and experience of operating at a management level within the Food Industry.
- Leadership Skills: Strong analytical ability, time management skills, and experience in coaching to develop individuals/teams.
- Competitive Nature: Competitive nature with a passion for innovation and excellence.
