Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Contract Manager to join our team at Turner & Townsend. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing and administering contracts, ensuring timely and accurate cost checks and valuations, and providing excellent client service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Pre and post-contract duties, including preparation of cost estimates, procurement, and tendering, contract administration, variation, final account, etc.
  • Completing feasibility studies and writing procurement reports
  • Estimating and cost planning, including producing and presenting the final cost plan
  • Tendering and procurement activity, including managing the pre-qualification stage, producing the tender list, preliminaries, tender analysis, tender report, and compiling the contractual documents
  • Managing timely and accurate cost checks and valuations
  • Producing monthly post-contract cost reports and presenting them to the client
  • Interfacing with the client and other consultants at all project stages
  • Participating effectively in post-contract cost variances and change control processes
  • Performing cost risk analysis and providing input into value engineering; negotiating and approving final accounts
  • Maintaining central feedback and learning on cost estimating from prospects and projects and contributing to updating best practices in estimating
  • Undertaking compliance checks against contracts

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience within construction, ideally within Industrial, Manufacturing, or Pharma type of projects
  • Good knowledge of all methods of construction and procurement
  • Demonstrated experience managing and understanding complex installation, supply, consulting services, and construction contracts
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, negotiating, project management, planning, and organizational skills
  • Proven abilities in influencing internal and external parties, managing risk, and optimizing costs through innovation
  • Proficiency with MS Office, including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
