About the Role

The Category Manager role is responsible for developing, planning, and implementing Global Sourcing and Procurement strategies and initiatives.

This individual will drive transformation in supply chain activities with agility and full ownership, building strategy during Tendering phase and executing it during Project Execution.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Leverage the CIPS process to develop and execute sourcing strategies aligned with business requirements and goals.
  • Run spend analysis, gather internal demands, assess supplier market availability and capacity, and ensure all stakeholders understand strategies and execute processes.
  • Identify, investigate, and select suitable suppliers that meet current and future business needs, while driving related actions on supplier qualification and audits process.
  • Manage strategic relationships with suppliers, negotiate Strategic Supplier Agreements and Contracts, and conduct Supplier Performance Evaluation.
  • Foster collaboration among team members to procure goods and materials on budget, on time, and with quality, while promoting safety and integrity within the organization.
Your Background
  • You must have a strong sense of ownership, maturity, and curiosity to challenge self and the organization for continuous improvement.
  • A relevant academic degree, such as BE (Electrical / Electronics / Mechanical), and professional experience in supply chain functions, category management, or procurement are required.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, fluency in English, and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously are essential.
  • Experience in HVDC projects and a multicultural environment will be advantageous.
