Gothenburg, Västra Götaland, Sweden Infotiv Full time
Project Overview

Infotiv is seeking a master's student to conduct a thesis project on simulation and verification of machine learning systems. The goal is to investigate the use of simulation and digital twins for quick prototyping and testing of machine learning models.

The project aims to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of using simulation for:

  • Localization and monitoring of agents
  • Developing machine learning models to monitor and control objects and agents
  • Verification and validation of existing ML models

Potential research questions include:

  • Verification and validation of complex machine learning-based models in a simulator
  • Human pose estimation using machine learning
  • Multi-camera localization, tracking, and mapping
  • Multi-agent indoor navigation
About the Project

The project is part of the ArtWork research project, which focuses on developing smart and connected worker solutions. The goal is to enable quick prototyping and testing of machine learning models used to monitor and control agents in industrial environments.

Requirements

We are looking for a master's student with a background in mechatronics, computer science, or engineering. The ideal candidate should have experience with software development, computer vision, and programming languages such as C++ or Python. Previous experience with machine learning, ROS2, Nav2, Gazebo simulator, Git, Continuous Integration, Delivery, or Deployment is a plus.

How to Apply

Apply for this thesis project by submitting your resume and a short summary of why you want to participate. We only consider applicants available for on-site work at our office in Gothenburg.
