Lärare i Engelska åk 4-6

Internationella Engelska Skolan (IES) Uppsala är en åk 4-9 skola med ca 750 elever och 80 medarbetare. Internationella Engelska Skolan Uppsala är en skola där lärare kan fokusera på att undervisa, elever ges möjlighet att lära sig och alla tycker om att komma till skolan varje dag. Skolan har en internationell inriktning och undervisningen bedrivs både på engelska och svenska. Skolan verkar för att lärande och kunskap sätts i första rummet. Eleverna lär sig ta ett personligt ansvar för sin egen utveckling och arbetsmiljö och att respektera sina skolkamrater, lärare och sig själva.

Vi söker nu en legitimerad lärare till årskurs 4-6 med ämnesbehörighet i engelska. Undervisningen i engelska bedrivs på engelska och följer den svenska läroplanen LGR22. I tjänsten ingår delat mentorskap.

Ansvarsområden:

- Planera, genomföra och utveckla lektioner
- Bedöma elevens framsteg, ge konstruktiv feedback och föra noggranna dokumentationer
- Mentorskap för elever i en av de klasserna du undervisar
- Samarbeta med kollegor för att skapa en stödjande och inkluderande lärmiljö
- Delta i professionell utveckling och bidra till skolans gemenskap

Vem är du?

- Du har lärarexamen med behörighet och legitimation att undervisa engelska i åk 4-6.
- Meriterande om du har bott och arbetat i ett engelskspråkigt land.
- Du brinner för utveckling och ett kollegialt arbetssätt.

Vi lägger stor vikt vid personlig lämplighet och vi förutsätter att du har ett genuint intresse för barn och ungdomar. Hos oss är studiero viktigt, varför du behöver vara trygg i din roll och ha förmågan att skapa ett gott arbetsklimat både bland elever och kollegor. Du har en positiv människosyn och har förmåga att skapa goda relationer med elever, kollegor och vårdnadshavare. Du behöver också vara en lagspelare, ha en hög arbetsmoral och tycka om att arbeta med människor i en internationell skolmiljö. Du behöver ha en god förmåga att kommunicera och samverka med elever, kollegor samt vårdnadshavare och en vilja att vara med och utveckla vår skola.

Tjänstens omfattning är 100% och ett tillsvidarekontrakt med start i augusti 2025. Vi tillämpar 6 månaders provanställning. Lön enligt överenskommelse, kollektivavtal finns.
