Business Controller – Stockholm

We are seeking a Business Controller with a strong interest and understanding of technology for an assignment for our client in Stockholm.
As a Business Controller, you will collaborate with stakeholders and senior leaders both within and outside Business Tech. Your primary responsibility will be to guide and support the units you oversee, ensuring continuous improvement while fostering a strategic business perspective.
Your primary goal is to foster a strategic and responsible approach to managing invested funds, ensuring they are utilized effectively to maximize business value in alignment with company goals, while maintaining clear oversight and understanding of expenditures.
This role involves close teamwork with other controllers daily, making clear, inspiring, and inclusive communication a key aspect. We seek an individual with a communication style that is articulate, motivating, and inclusive, capable of effectively influencing, empowering, and inspiring others. Key Responsibilities:
• Financial Management: Execute budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting for assigned units; consolidate financial data for Business Tech.• Monthly Operations: Oversee monthly cut activities.• Strategic Support: Provide analysis and recommendations for strategic decisions and their implementation.• Expense Monitoring: Ensure proper handling of financial flows such as invoices, accruals, and recharge costs.• Process Optimization: Continuously improve budgeting and forecasting processes.• Analysis: Conduct investigations to enhance business impact and cost awareness.• Education & Guidance: Educate Business Tech leaders on financial planning and monitoring.• Procurement Support: Oversee purchase processes, including invoice and agreement handling.• Long-term Planning: Contribute to strategic goal setting and challenge existing business approaches.
What We’re Looking For:
• Experience: At least 3 years in a similar Controller role, preferably in a global organization.• Education: Academic degree in business, engineering, or a related field.• Skills:o Solid understanding of financial principles.o Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities and able to find solutions in complex situations and involve and influence various stakeholders.o Proficiency in tools and software like Excel, Power BI, SAP, etc.o Cloud certification (AZ900) is required.o Excellent English communication skills (expert level).• Attributes:o Leadership ability, entrepreneurial mindset, and strategic thinking.o Curiosity and interest in technology.o Open to change, with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement.o Team player with an agile mindset and collaborative approach.
