Leading property management companies in the Nordics, UK, and US have already joined forces to form Odevo and over the last 4 years Odevo’s revenues have grown 40-fold to become a leading international player. Our ambition is to continue to grow rapidly organically and by attracting additional companies to join us in both existing and new markets.
We deliver our property management services with custom developed software to simplify living and make life easier for property owners, association boards, residents and very importantly our own property management professionals. We make complex topics such as managing property finances and the daily maintenance of buildings easy, and we automate time-consuming everyday tasks so people can spend more time on things that they really enjoy.

About the role
We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional to join our Group Finance team in a key role, working closely with local finance teams across the group. In this position, you will help shape and advance the Finance function, collaborating with the Head of Financial Control and the Group Accounting Manager.
As Group Financial Controller, your main responsibility will involve contributing to M&A activities, integrating new companies, and partnering with the Group Finance team to manage the group’s reporting and consolidation process, ensuring smooth and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
Your expertise in financial operations, combined with a proactive and solution-driven mindset, will be essential in building a reporting structure that adapts to the needs of our rapidly growing group, both through organic growth and acquisitions.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Developing the onboarding process for new companies, ensuring smooth and efficient integration into our finance operations.
2. Collaborating with the Group Finance team to ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end reporting and consolidation processes.
3. Leading projects related to onboarding acquired companies, including PPA, IFRS conversion, and coordinating with external advisors.
4. Supporting and coaching local finance teams to foster development and ensure alignment with group processes.
5. Contributing to the development and maintenance of Odevo’s accounting principles and consolidation system (AARO).
6. Implementing and maintaining Group financial reporting requirements in compliance with IFRS standards.
7. Coordinating the internal audit process and effectively partnering with external auditors to ensure compliance.

Experience
While sharing our values and being excited about our journey is important, we believe that experience in the following areas will contribute to success in this role:
1. Group Accounting, experience in a fast-growing multinational organization is highly desirable.
2. IFRS and Accounting Regulations.
3. Proficiency in Excel and experience working with various ERP systems, experience in AARO would be considered a plus.
