Job Title: Financial Controller

Sandvik Mining and Rock Solutions is seeking a skilled Financial Controller to join their Global team in Stockholm, Sweden.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Takes part in monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes, aligning with Group and Business Area timetables.
  • Collaborates on quarterly forecasting, incorporating Business Area-wide cost/income data relating to Common costs, Service fees, Transfer prices, and Royalties.
  • Manages the budget and forecast process for management functions, participating in monthly, quarterly, and annual closings in collaboration with sister department BA Business Control, divisions, and Group functions. Oversees common cost management and monthly follow-up of Common cost budget vs Actuals per Cost Center.
  • Responsible for maintaining and updating Sandvik financial policies on the intranet to reflect changes in IFRS and company principles and procedures.
Requirements:
  • A recognized university degree or similar in a relevant field, accompanied by at least 5-6 years of relevant work experience.
  • Proficient in IFRS, primarily IFRS 15, 16, and 9, with a solid understanding of group accounting. Knowledge of company policies is an advantage.
  • Experience working with major consolidation systems and larger business systems, such as SAP, Excel, and PowerBI, is required.
  • Fluency in English in speech and writing is mandatory, with Swedish being advantageous.
