About the job

In this position, you’re a key player in our communication planning and execution, ensuring that it supports our business strategy, goals, purpose, and core values. Creating brand pride and commitment is always on your agenda, and by building a good understanding of our current business situation, you know what to prioritize to reach our set goals. In this managerial role, you’re a critical part of the team improving employee engagement throughout our organization – supporting our executive management in key projects and developing our corporate messaging platforms, both internal and external. A key part of the success is to work together with other communications experts across our decentralized organization and different businesses. You’re an active member of the Group Communications Management team, continuously developing our organization, collaboration forums and ways of working, ensuring operational excellence, a fair brand perception, and engaging communications.

You will manage our internal communications strategy together with the development and anchoring of designated policies, procedures, and governance. You will also take ownership of our common frameworks and supporting tools, such as “communication in change” and “communication in leadership.” You lead one of the three teams in the Group Communications and Sustainability function, consisting of communications and brand experts. Together with the entire Group Communications team, you will develop our digital platforms for communication, ensure appropriate brand governance, and develop our brand position. You also support our Group functions in their internal communication. It’s safe to say that you have the opportunity to contribute to best-in-class communications across our entire company You report directly to the Executive Vice President & Head of Group Communications and Sustainability. The location for this position is preferably Stockholm.

Your background and characteristics

We need a communications expert with broad skills. Extensive experience in internal and external communication is required, along with a solid background in a managerial position. With good skills and knowledge of branding, brand governance, and marketing challenges, you’re able to manage industry experts and support brand development. You have preferably also worked proactively with crisis management and communication. As our ambition is to become even more data-driven, a background and knowledge of analytics tools, platforms, and dashboards, as well as a data-driven approach, is beneficial. We believe that your knowledge is backed by a university degree in communications, marketing, journalism, or equivalent knowledge gained from other education or work. Acting in a truly global company calls for excellent skills in English, both verbally and in writing, and as a listed company in Stockholm, Swedish is beneficial.

To thrive in this role, you also need:

1. Experience of working with objectives and key results to guide and engage teams
2. Excellent skills in stakeholder management and the ability to engage at all levels of an organization
3. Expertise in communication channels, platforms, and tools

With your strategic mindset and thorough way of working, you easily spot the important details in the bigger picture. You’re confident – both in your social skills and your knowledge – and you have no problem making decisions and taking initiatives. The ability to plan, organize, and prioritize your own work as well as the work of others in an efficient manner is a great asset in this role.
