What you will do?

Brite’s product suite and strategic expansion into new verticals and markets hinge primarily on its ability to ensure product-market fit, making the product team a key cornerstone of the overall success of the business. As a key part of the product team, the Product Manager is also vital in defining the culture and ways of working at Brite.

As the Product Manager of the Merchant Onboarding Team, you will play a critical role in building a self-service onboarding experience that empowers merchants to set up and start using our services independently. This team is responsible for creating intuitive tools, developing clear documentation, and improving processes so that merchants can transition from sign-up to go-live as seamlessly as possible. Working closely with internal stakeholders and receiving direct feedback from merchants, you will identify key pain points in the onboarding process, prioritizing solutions that make the experience faster and more user-friendly.Responsibilities for the Product Manager Merchant Onboarding include (but are not limited to):

- Be the product visionary, using your deep knowledge of the product and customer needs to define and communicate a clear product strategy.
- Proactively identify new product opportunities and bring innovative ideas to the table.
- Lead the continuous improvement of our Merchant Onboarding, while driving the development of new, cutting-edge features.
- Own the delivery for the Merchant Onboarding team, ensuring smooth, efficient, and timely product development that aligns with company objectives.
- Collaborate with Engineering to build and manage product backlogs, bridging the gap between technical teams and the broader organization.
- Dive into customer needs, working with sales to ensure product roadmaps are aligned with market demands and future growth opportunities.
- Lead agile ceremonies (stand-ups, retrospectives, demos), and be comfortable with team reviews, pre-reads, and transparent communication to foster a high-performing team environment.
- Use your knowledge of OKRs and KPIs to track performance, make data-driven decisions, and ensure you’re driving the most impactful business outcomes.

Are you a brite mind?

You are a product leader with experience in managing and developing payments products in a fast-paced environment. You have experience defining product roadmaps, building collaboratively with design and engineering peers, and shipping at scale. You are comfortable sorting out ambiguity and can bring clarity of purpose to the teams surrounding you. You know where to start and how to run the right tests to validate your hypotheses.

Need to have:

- 3+ years of from a leading role in a product development environment
- B.Sc. in Engineering, Economics or similar
- General knowledge about the payments industry.
- Familiarity with OKRs and KPIs, with the ability to leverage insights to move key business metrics.
- A track record of leading agile development teams, guiding team reviews, and communicating transparently across stakeholders.
- Integrity, strong analytical skills, and the ability to inspire and rally a team around your vision.
- A genuine passion for building consumer-centric products that make a difference.

Good to have:

- Experience from working within a regulated Financial Services business
- Understanding of how PSD2 impacts the payments and financial industry
