Stockholm, Sweden Nordnet Full time

Nordnet is a leading pan-Nordic digital platform for savings and investments. Ever since we started 25 years ago, our purpose has been to democratize savings and investments. Through innovation, simplicity, and transparency, we challenge traditional ways in the financial industry, and give private savers access to the same information, tools and services as professionals. Our ambition is to inspire, encourage and enable people to take their savings to the next level, no matter who they are.
Help us transform the way people save and invest. Become a part of our journey to build an inspiring and innovative platform for savers and investors in the Nordics. Here's your opportunity

In brief

We are looking for an experienced and skilled Pension Administrator with focus on general handling of Swedish and Finnish Investment and Capital Insurance and specifically the Finnish death estate handling process.

Do you work independently, have a high level of ambition, are structured and efficient, and at the same time passionate about providing good customer experience? Then apply for this permanent position and become part of our team within Pension Operations.

The position is based in Stockholm, and you report to Head of Pension Operations in Stockholm, Sweden.

This is part of the role

As a Pension administrator, you´ll work with various administrative tasks that require accuracy and extensive knowledge in the pensions area. We are therefore looking for someone who has previous experience from a similar role and is familiar with handling pensions, product regulations, routines and insurance contracts for life and pension insurance. The Pension operation team has a close cooperation with other parts of the organization.

You will manage all, or part of the customer journey for our products and services. It includes new opening, maintenance of customer information, payouts and closures as well as death estate handling and final settlement.

Your tasks include, among other things:

  • Case management of all stages in the management of Investment and Capital Insurance for Sweden and Finland
  • Manage death estates in Finnish
  • Customer communication
  • Creating and updating current manuals and routine descriptions
  • Answer questions from internal departments, customers and external parties
  • Regression tests of existing and new functionality
  • Development work

This is you

You are genuinely interested in the pension area and with a learning mindset. Your work style can be described as goal- and service-oriented, responsible and without prestige. You have the ability to see the big picture and consequences, but when required, you can work detail-focused, sometimes under a heavy workload. We believe that you are a meticulous and structured person with an eye for numbers and details who wants to be part of a team and building efficient and scalable processes.

To thrive in this role, you need to be interested and understand how to apply current regulations such as GDPR, AML in your daily work. Understanding our customers’ needs and applying customer focus in your work is a matter of course. In addition to excellent knowledge of Finnish and Swedish, you are comfortable and express yourself well in spoken and written English.

Key responsibilities

You have experience in banking and/or the insurance industry with good knowledge of the Swedish and Finnish pension and insurance systems as well as Finnish estate management, i.e. have documented experience in similar positions. Experience from the Lumera insurance system is advantageous, also university studies in economics, finance or law, or other relevant insurance education. In addition, we see it as meritorious to have good knowledge of how processes for pension administration work, which parties are part of the value chain and how IT supports our daily work, as well as understanding banking and the insurance industry’s requirements.

About Nordnetters

We value experimentation and continuous improvement. With an impartial approach, we welcome new ideas to boost our progress. Sharing knowledge and learning from our setbacks is part of the game. We have the courage to ask questions and admit that we do not have the answer, all the time. We believe that straightforward and transparent communication build trust and inclusion.

We believe in a culture where every effort counts and where everyone is being recognized. A culture embracing our core values – passion, simplicity and transparency on all levels, no matter who you are or what you do.
