For a century, our work has been part of the value chains that have shaped modern society. At Boliden, we know that the metals we mine and make available will continue to play a crucial role in the future – what matters is how we produce them. Become a part of us and drive change for future generations.

Your opportunity:

Optimize the deliveries of finished metals in a cost and time-efficient way, in accordance with agreed customer contracts and set stock target levels.

Who you will work with:

You will collaborate with Commercial Coordinators, sales managers, smelters' production teams, and various improvement groups to ensure efficient planning and delivery processes.

What you will do:

Master planning will be handled based on forecasts and call-offs entered by Commercial Coordinators. Planning with smelters' production will be optimized and coordinated. Tasks:

  6. Improve the performance of transport providers
  7. Participate in Commercial Coordination improvement work
  8. Manage transport invoices

What you bring:

  1. An academic degree with a background in planning, logistics, or production is advantageous
  2. Fluency in English (speaking and writing); additional languages (Swedish, Finnish, Norwegian, or German) are a plus
  3. Good knowledge of the financial and customer satisfaction impacts of optimizing production and logistics
  4. Business-oriented mindset
  5. Excellent problem-solving skills and a drive to continuously improve the planning process
  6. Strong communication skills
  7. Ability to work well in a team and take the lead when needed
  8. Ability to handle stress due to large fluctuations in workload
  9. Minimum 3 years' experience in similar tasks

Why work with us:

At Boliden, we believe in promoting a workplace where care, courage, and responsibility are central to everything we do. We offer a workplace where we believe in collaboration and where what you contribute will have a direct impact on future generations. We are a company made up of responsible and creative people all working towards the same vision: to become the most sustainable and respected metal supplier in the world.
