As a Central Planner to Boliden, you will play a key role in ensuring efficient planning and delivery processes. Your primary responsibility will be to optimize the delivery of finished metals in a cost- and time-efficient manner, in accordance with customer contracts and set stock target levels.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. You will collaborate with Commercial Coordinators, sales managers, and production teams to develop and implement planning strategies
  2. Develop and maintain planning IT tools to streamline daily planning and coordination
  3. Lead process improvements and monitor stock levels to ensure optimal supply chain performance
  4. Improve transport, handling, and storage cost reporting to identify areas for cost reduction
  5. Participate in Commercial Coordination improvement work to enhance overall business efficiency
  6. Manage transport invoices to ensure accurate payment and reduce administrative burdens

What You Bring:

  • An academic degree in planning, logistics, or production (advantageous)
  • Fluency in English (speaking and writing); additional languages (Swedish, Finnish, Norwegian, or German) are a plus
  • Good knowledge of financial and customer satisfaction impacts of optimizing production and logistics
  • Business-oriented mindset
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and drive to continuously improve the planning process
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work well in a team and take the lead when needed
  • Ability to handle stress due to large fluctuations in workload
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in similar tasks
