As our Operations Controller, you will:

  1. Drive financial strategy – As part of the Operations Management Team, challenge and align financial performance with the company's long-term strategy.
  2. Manage financial reporting – Take ownership of the reporting process, ensuring timely and accurate insights that help guide operational decisions.
  3. Optimize cost structures – Ensure product costing is accurate and build on relevant cost drivers with cost records properly maintained.
  4. Forecast and Budget – Lead the creation and updating of budgets and forecasts, making sure they reflect the strategic direction and take an active part in Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process.
  5. Dive into systems – Continuously improve financial systems and reporting structures, focusing on optimizing processes, refining data, and ensuring transparency.
  6. Partner with Operations Managers – Provide financial insights to help managers make informed decisions and improve operational performance.
  7. Continuous improvement – Identify and implement improvements in financial reporting, process structures, and cost management.
  8. Support closing processes – Assist with monthly and year-end closing, ensuring the financials are accurate and align with the broader business goals.
  9. Investment tracking – Oversee investment processes, ensuring that financial impacts are properly tracked and reported, as well as supporting the business case process of product development projects.

What we're looking for

You'll thrive in this role if you:

  1. Have a strong business mindset and a drive to understand the bigger picture while diving into the details of systems and processes.
  2. Have experience leading projects or managing your own projects – you don't just follow directions, you take initiative.
  3. Have the ambition to drive change and understand how to influence it from both a financial and operational perspective.
  4. Have experience working with manufacturing and operations.
  5. Are comfortable working in a high-level, strategic capacity but also enjoy rolling up your sleeves to get into the nitty-gritty.
  6. Are fluent in both English and Swedish at a high level (you don't need to be a native Swedish speaker, but you should be comfortable working in Swedish).

Formal requirements

  1. University degree in Accounting, Finance, or similar
  2. +5 years of working experience
  3. +3 years of experience as a business controller, operations controller, controlling manager, or similar

As an employer, we prioritize collaboration, well-being, and sustainability, creating a workplace where you can grow, thrive, and make a real impact. Here's what you can expect:

  1. A Broad and impactful role – You'll work both strategically and hands-on, with the opportunity to influence decisions and drive change in a company that values expertise and innovation.
  2. A detective mindset – If you love digging into systems, finding insights, and solving complex problems, this role will suit you perfectly. You'll be the one connecting the dots and uncovering opportunities for improvement.
