Section Manager Dispute Operation Center - Tietoevry Banking

Our Dispute Management Services provides a secure dispute process for card issuers and cardholders and we are committed to delivering and ensuring high-quality validations in compliance with complex card payment scheme rules, local financial regulations, and each issuer's terms and conditions. We serve customers today in several European countries.

As a section manager for Dispute Handling, you will be a part of a team with highly skilled employees. You will be responsible for the day-to-day business through Operational Excellence together with our competent team leaders and Dispute analysts. As the section manager, you will be responsible for the overall performance towards our customers, manage our governance meetings with selected customers, and drive enhancement and efficiency together with our business development team.

Responsibilities:

  1. You will be responsible for "Day to day" delivery to our customers – securing that we deliver according to agreed Service Level.
  2. You will lead a team of employees located in different locations, establish development plans for your direct reports, and manage follow up/check-ins.
  3. Set financial targets for the section and follow up monthly.
  4. You will lead the development of customer relations and governance structure for selected customers.
  5. Performance management – identify opportunities to improve quality and suggest improvements. Set personal goals for the section and employees.
  6. Key Performance Indicators – identify, agree, and follow up KPI's on a monthly basis.

Qualifications:

  1. Structured, experienced, and goal-oriented.
  2. Excellent communication skills. Communicate well verbally and in writing, fluent in English. Scandinavian language will be considered an advantage.
  3. Good knowledge within dispute & chargeback processes including card scheme processes and products.
  4. Experience from disputes & chargebacks and organizational change management is preferred.
  5. Ability to understand customers and business requirements and transform the business need to operational improvement.
  6. Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.

  1. You build trust, have excellent cooperation skills, and experience in coaching/mentoring.
  2. Excellent communication skills both in Norwegian/Swedish and English, oral and written. English is our company language.
  3. You are customer-focused.
  4. Passion to deliver excellent results and quality through own employees, in individual tasks & as part of a team.
